We are so excited to announce our April 2023 Precision Cares Recipient – The Greenspire Steel Sturgeons Robotics Team.
“The Steel Sturgeons is a small robotics team in their first year. Starting from nothing, this team has created a robot and are driving it with the best of teams. As a rookie team, they do not yet have a sponsor, or donation. They have been running this remarkable team and process on the desire of the students to do well. This program, which includes more than 10% of the entire school's students, teaches so many amazing skills in STEM, team work, communication, leadership, and many more items that will help them grow.”
We wish them luck as they compete at Michigan State Championships this year!

We are thrilled to announce our June 2023 Precision Cares Recipient – Northwest Education Services CHS MOCI Program! Precision is honored to support their work in our community!
From Kayla Pendergast - Teacher for Students with Moderate Cognitive Impairments”
“Our program services moderate cognitively impaired students from the 5 county region (Leelanau, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Antrim). We teach 14-18 year olds. Our primary focus is on teaching independence through community based instruction, pre-vocational work skills, and teaching a modified curriculum. We have 20 students at the high school and we are looking forward to giving our students a space to enjoy lunch outside along with leisure time. Any left over funds will be used to purchase outdoor games and activities to encourage our students to move and live a healthy lifestyle.”
They were able to purchase 2 new picnic tables and corn hole, various balls, and badminton for their classroom!

LIFT Teen Center is a non-profit organization designed to serve the needs of Leelanau County's youth through intentional and engaging programs. LIFT was born out of the need founder Bekah saw for a safe, fun environment for the youth community, and has morphed into the dynamic programming it is today through community support, committed volunteers and staff, and guidance from the teens' needs.

We are thrilled to announce Housing North as our November 2023 Precision Cares Recipient! "Housing North or the NW MI Rural Housing Partnership was created in 2018, and was formed out of Networks Northwest with our founding partners being Rotary Charities of Traverse City and the Frey Foundation. Housing North is our regional lead for the Statewide Housing Plan- for Region D. We focus on removing the barriers to housing in our 10 county region through Communications/Awareness, Policy/Advocacy and Capacity Building all around housing. Our mission is to build awareness, influence policy, and expand capacity so communities can create housing solutions that meet their unique needs. Our vision is that Northwest Michigan will be a place where families of all income levels can find homes that are safe and affordable. They recently commissioned a 10 County Housing Needs Assessment demonstrating the need for housing and are working to bring new tools for housing affordability to our units of government and community partners.”

“Since its birth, The Haven has been a place of rest and restoration for peoples' spirits, souls, and bodies. Haven's roots go deep into the soil of the past, both physically and spiritually. Located on a forty-acre property that has helped hurting individuals and families for nearly two decades.
Created in 1999 as a branch of House of Hope in Orlando, FL, the property hosted and ministered to broken and emotionally wounded teenagers. In 2010, the ministry became Abba's House. That continued House of Hope's tradition of bringing truth and healing, but broadened the scope to include more ages, issues, and family circumstances.
The Haven Retreat seeks to honor its heritage and multiply it by using the property to continue bringing healing by hosting Christ centered retreats, schools, and camps.”
