We're delighted to share that the Old Mission Women's Club is our January 2024 Precision Cares winner! Established in 1931, this 501(c)3 organization on the Old Mission Peninsula has been serving the community for over 90 years.
From educational speakers at meetings to impactful philanthropy, the club's projects include crafting Christmas stockings, providing winter essentials for local children, making satin pillowcases for chemo patients, distributing Thanksgiving baskets, and supporting local 501(c)3s with small grants—aiming to donate $18,000 this year.

We are thrilled to announce that Young Marines of Traverse City is our April 2024 Precision Cares winner!
Since 1973, The Young Marines have been a cornerstone of youth leadership in the greater Grand Traverse area. With principles rooted in teamwork, leadership, and discipline, they have positively impacted countless young lives. "Drug Demand Reduction is a pillar of the program, at one time being the only youth program mentioned by name in the President's Anti-drug initiative."
Meeting weekly, The Young Marines provide a nurturing environment where boys and girls as young as 8 years old through high school completion can thrive. Their dedication to instilling core values and fostering community involvement has made a significant difference in the lives of many young people.
As one parent shared, "My son joined this group 3 years ago and it has changed his life! This program is one of the best things for kids and teenagers. It teaches them core values and keeps them involved with their local communities."

Congratulations to The Dream Team - our May Precision Cares Winner!
We are thrilled to support The Dream Team, a co-ed baseball league for players with disabilities in the Grand Traverse region. ⚾️ Established in 2015, this incredible organization has grown from 22 players to 88, offering a safe, inclusive, and FUN baseball experience for youths, teens, and young adults with disabilities or special health care needs.
With the help of amazing volunteers, coaches, and player-partners, The Dream Team ensures every player has the support they need to enjoy the game. From hand-over-hand assistance to high fives, they emphasize inclusion and joy on the field.
This donation went towards their Dugout Renovation project! Four NEW ADA-compliant dugout structures have been constructed at the Grand Traverse Civic Center. This past Saturday, we had the honor of presenting them with a check during their games!

Established nearly 30 years ago, this wonderful library lends over 22,000 wholesome youth books, primarily from the "Golden Age of Youth Literature." These "living books" captivate young readers with their rich narratives and artistry, fostering a love for learning and discovery.
The library's unique collection emphasizes virtues, patriotism, character, and creativity, making it a beloved resource for families. One featured family in these photos includes a mother who visited the library as a child and now brings her own children to enjoy these literary treasures.

The Maritime Heritage Alliance is our July 2024 Precision Cares winner!
For 41 years, this grassroots nonprofit has been connecting people with unique maritime experiences. Operating with an all-volunteer crew, they manage two vessels: the 92’ Schooner Madeline, a floating classroom built on an 1845 design, and the 38’ Cutter Champion, which primarily works with at-risk populations. These vessels provide the local community with authentic Great Lakes adventures that most people can't afford on their own.
The Maritime Heritage Alliance also offers classes to help people develop skills for their own on-water adventures, fostering a sense of self-reliance and strengthening our community. They operate on the water, in their shop, and in a classroom setting with the help of one year-round employee and an amazing group of skilled volunteers.

Founded by a former dolphin trainer, this organization also educates people of all ages about the powerful healing bonds that can be formed with animals. Through their mission, Sea2Stable not only resets and rehomes horses but also helps individuals develop leadership skills and a balanced mindset.

The Alano Club has been a lifeline for many in our community. As one supporter shared, “They saved my life and so many others. For over 40 years, the Alano Club has hosted various meetings—including AA, NA, OA, and mental health support—creating a safe haven for those in need. They also foster community connections through monthly potlucks and events, demonstrating their commitment to recovery and rebuilding lives.
